When two cell are connected with in a same TG or same TG cluster they are called synchronized cell, because they are synchronized by the timing function of same TG. Cell belongs to two different TG are asynchronous to each other. Thus the handover between two cell and both belongs to the same TG or TG cluster are called Synchronous Handover and handover between the two cell which belongs to the two different TG are called Asynchronous handover
