The design process of selecting and allocating channel groups for all of the cellular base stations within a system is called frequency reuse.A geographic location is split up into clusters having several cells.Within a cluster a set of frequencies are used 3/4/7 frequencies are used within that cluster.Other clusters use the same frequency as the previous cluster ensuring that cells having same frequency don't lie next to each other to avoid interference.
